Clomiphene Citrate

Clomifene citrate is a drug treatment that stimulates your ovaries to release eggs. Clomifene citrate is used to treat infertility in women. It works by stimulating an increase in the amount of hormones that support the growth and release of a mature egg (ovulation). Your doctor may recommend you take it if you have problems conceiving and you have irregular or absent periods (ovulation disorder), caused by problems such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
